The elements I was randomly assigned were Goat the bunny, San Francisco, California, and soda. To combine these elements into a dynamic logo design, I decided to name the brand after Goat, incorporating an illustrated mascot of the bunny in many various ways through thumbnail sketches. To ground the brand in its San Francisco location, I integrated an organic color palette and rustic illustrative quality. In contrast with top of the market soda companies, my goal for this product was to lean into the more natural, organic side of the beverage industry. This “natural-first” visual strategy targets an eco-conscious, urban, and creative demographic. My final concept captures a playful, yet sophisticated energy with circular, balanced motion.
